The Dutraives spreading their wings, this time into the northernmost Cru of Beaujolais, the beautifully named Saint Amour. Their plot is high up the hill, and east-facing. Obviously they went for the top. This is just plain delicious, suave even. Layer upon layer of cherry, raspberry and strawberry underpinned by some light meatiness. A winner, straight up. ABV: 14%
