The most prestigious of all sites in the appellation, thanks to Belluard's tireless dedication to cultivating its potential. Belluard's 'Le Feu' was a blend, but this is a single plot bottling. Zippy and fresh, almost reminiscent of an excellent Loire Chenin, but with a character all its own - ripe fruited, racy acidity, full-bodied and with a lick of minerality to finish. Sheesh. ABV: 13%
