Domaine Dandelion, Hautes Cotes Nature 2023

Vibe: Natural, lighter

As per all things Dandelion uplifting and energetic. This is an assemblage of most of their seven micro-parcels across Meloisey, rooted in clay and limestone. For the '23 though, they've included fruit from their two highest-elevation vineyards that is usually reserved for the 'Aube' bottling. Nice. Macerated as whole bunches for a fortnight before being hand de-stemmed to ensure the wines isn't too green. Then back in for another week of light maceration before finally seeing their old basket press. Could this be their most accomplished work to date? Time will be the eventual judge but going with my gut I'm saying a BIG YES. ABV:12%
