Domaine Belargus, Coteaux du Layon 2018

Grape: Chenin Blanc

Vibe: Hectically Good

My notes on this wine are glowing, it's that good. Layon is sweet wine territory in the Loire, so we're after balance. It's there in spades. A touch of botrytis in 2018, so you get that on the nose. In the mouth is where it's at though. Tonnes of acidity and a beautiful bitterness keeping that fruit in line. Wow. ABV: 12.5%
