Like many of the best houses, Eric Dhondt and Edith Grellet stopped selling their wares to négociants in 1986 and launched their own estate. Their domaine spans 6 hectares of Grand and Premier Cru vines with an average age of forty years, and their focus on biodynamics has led to super expressive Champagnes. Son Adrien now runs the biz, levelling the wines up once again by moving the focus to Chardonnay. Well worth it, given he was voted Winemaker of the Year in 2017. Grab a bottle and find out why.
