Crocizia are located in Pastorello di Langhirano, just south of Parma, in an old ruin they recovered in 1992. Organically certified since 2003, they plant Lambrusco Maestri, Pinot Noir, Barbera, Croatina, Sauvignon and Malvasia di Candia at 500m above sea level. That plus the nearby stream keeps things suitably cool, which makes the wine suitably fresh. All very suitable indeed.
