After working with some of the true kings of the Loire Valley, Cyril purchased 5 hectares of old vineyards in 2002, and now owns a further 2.5. His winemaking is biodynamic, and from the very beginning he chose to work outside the Roussillon-Village appellation as he felt its rules (minimum 30% Syrah and/or Mourvèdre) actually led to wines that went against his vision of the region’s climate, soil and history.
