Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola work with older vineyards in the hills of Irpinia, Campania trying to showcase the region's indigenous varieties and traditional methods of tending to them. The volcanic soils and high altitudes alongside excellent organic farming lead to only the very best fruit. A minimal interventionist approach is taken in the cellar with natural fermentations taking place without temperature control. Aging takes place in terracotta vessels or barrels made from local wood. Unfiltered and unfined with zero additions, these wines are beautiful representations of the grape and their terroir.
