...be my maker #11 feat... Mick Craven

October, famously not a time when winemakers have a ton of time to host tastings, what with harvest and all that jazz. So we've had to look a little further afield... to the other hemisphere, to be precise.

Mick Craven's pretty familiar with the other hemisphere - originally from Aus, he met his wife Jeanine in California before decamping to her hometown of Stellenbosch to settle down to some serious winemaking. They source fruit from single vineyard sites in and around the Stellenbosch area, and the results are crazy delicious, terroir-driven, eminently gluggable wines. On top of that, Mick is very good craic. This is one not to be missed.
