Since they founded their winery in 2001, Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts have been leading the charge for changing the way Californian wine is perceived. They’ve focused on finding distinctive and often long-forgotten parcels spanning Mendocino County to the Santa Cruz mountains and have maximised their potential by teaming up with expert vignerons and wine consultants. They deal both with classic Californian grapes – your Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir – and also experiment with varieties less well known in the region, such as Ribolla Gialla, Falanghina and Trousseau, and their interpretations of these species have been hugely successful.
