An Evening With Terroir al Límit at Ken's // 28th Feb
Join us for a breathtaking evening of food and wine as Ken’s, Natty Boy and Indigo Wines welcome Dominik Huber of Terroir al Límit to London.
The wines of Terroir al Límit probably need little introduction, but we'll do so anyway. Huber has spent the best part of two decades pioneering a new style for the wines of Priorat. A shift from overt ripeness and flamboyant oak use to bottlings of pure, finessed varietal expressions of both red and white grapes.
Vineyard work is painstaking and precise, descrived as 'maniacal' by Rajat Parr. It's this work out in the fields that separates the great growers from the rest, hour upon hour of labour and preparation in the search for the highest possible quality of fruit. Once inside the practices read almost like the most modern of Burgundy producers. A high percentage of whole bunches and maturation solely in concrete resulting in bright yet mineral expressions.
