Agnès et René Mosse, 'Moussamoussettes' Pét-Nat 2021
Place: Loire Valley, France
Grape: Pineau d'Aunis + Cabernet Franc + Grolleau
Vibe: Natural
Bright in every sense of the word and lusciously fruit driven. Loads of raspberry and red cherry character. Rejuvenating qualities. We've got lashings of Pineau d'Aunis here, with the balance being Grolleau Noir and Cabernet Franc. Ripeness is becoming less and less of an issue in the Loire, so you're getting even more balance and give here. Pretty bloody good as an aperitif, you could have it with food too, maybe something a bit spicy or fatty, but it's so good by itself. Best laid plans and all that. ABV: 11.5%
