A super classic blend with drinkability front and center. It gets a short maceration, followed by just a splash of Grignolino to smooth things out. This wine is really unlike anything else I’ve tasted (in the best possible way), maybe I need to drink more Mauzac? It’s smoky and herbal, with the fruit leaning into candied orange and rum raisin. It felt so familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it. Then Hannah said it reminded her of hot cross buns... Bingo. You’ll have to taste it to believe it. Very limited. ABV: 12%
