The Salon Aftermath + Fresh Dufaitre

Dan this AM,
Moderately Fresh off the back of back to back to back events for trade, public, producers and extremely well looked after members of staff. Not all of us made it through, thoughts and prayers for those off sick today.
Thanks to the hundreds of people who waltzed through the doors on Sunday for the first, definitely annual, Salon de Dan’s. A truly riotous display of love for wine, tartare, and further wine. For those who couldn’t get down, there’s always next year, and for those who can’t wait that long? Tickets for the Beaujolais Ancien party will be on sale later this week. Huge!
We’ve decided, in the spirit of generosity, to throw open the Salon pricing for everyone far and wide. The wines in THIS COLLECTION are available at devilish price for the remainder of today. Happy hunting.
Speaking of devilish….
A vast delivery arrived last Thursday from good old Remi over in Beaujolais. Restocks of all the classics, and all the bug guns were majestically unloaded from Tower of Pisa like pallets on the Dalston Riviera. If you are ever in the mood to see elite level manoeuvring, come down when we get wine delivered, it’s a spectacle.
It’s a very welcome return for both Premices and Grillons, which both went like hot cakes from the first shipment, and a nice top up of the various Cru cuvees from Brouilly and the Cote. I was getting a bit nervous looking at the lonely single bottles on the shelves.
That’s pretty much all I have the brain power for this morning…. thanks for being you.
