EVENT-LYF

Morning,
Although it could hardly feel further from it, next week we’re due some sun. We’re also due a brand spanking new streetside seating area on the Dalston Riviera, and I figured what better way to christen the space than holding the upcoming Pinosity Tasting Al Fresco.
Tickets for this event are now limited, so if you’re feeling like next Wednesday may be a good time to learn a bit and imbibe a bit of upper echelon wine from Down Under then hammer the link below and do your thing!
If you aren’t in the London strike zone and would still like to be seduced by the wines of Sailor Seeks Horse, they’re all available right here.
Off the back of that big one we’ve got another big one, because why not. In the world of wine there are a lot of books written that probably shouldn’t have been written. Destined for the Xmas stocking and subsequently for the top shelf in the living room to gather dust. Then there are books which shape a regional profile, and bring into the limelight the extraordinary work, and the transcendent wines being made. As readers will know, we are both partial to a quick work trip to the Jura, as well as purchasing and selling as much of the gear as we can get our little mits on. So it was with great joy that we had Wink Lorch reach out about launching her new book with us.
Join us on Sunday the 22nd of September for an afternoon of fine wine and excellent provision of information. Wink will be holding a special tasting as well as release of her book from 2-4pm, for which tickets are essential. The ticket price includes a copy of her book, Jura Wine - 10 Years On, as well as three glasses of wine chosen by Wink. From 4pm onwards we’ll be offering out a selection of wines usually reserved for private consumption, just because. If you want first dibs, I’d be coming for the book launch and whispering sweet nothings. Tickets for this are available below.
How Good Do These Les Fruits Look?
Fun fact, they taste even better…
We’ve been rocketing through our allocation by the glass in Dan’s, so it feels rude not to give them a quick pump up in the written word for those who can’t make it up the junction. Tim Stocks Les Fruits project is the most hands off that I work with from Aus. They’re wines that offer a really clear picture of site and grape, uninhibited by barrel work, excess winemaking or just plain old faulty winemaking. In an era where it’s becoming harder and harder to find minimal intervention wine with minimal SO2 use that doesn’t have issues, these are a ray of light, a breath of fresh air.
These are wines I want to put away, as in drink, in the best way possible. You too can live your best life. Right here.
