When I heard these wines had finally relanded in London after a long hiatus, I made the long pilgrimage across the river just to get a taste, something I'd usually avoid at all costs as a born-and-bred North Londoner. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis bottle was the pick of the bunch. Chenin in its orchard fruited best. Slightly reductive and very mineral, you'd think this came from one of Anjou's finest. You see Tom applies some old-world sensibilities to new world fruit. There's wax and lanolin, and whilst things feel golden and sun kissed, the acidity and freshness feel very French. How he's done this with Barossa fruit is beyond me.
