Old vine Grenache from the legendary Le Mazel. This is such a unique expression, with some beautifully integrated VA that pushes the fruit to a whole new level of deliciousness. Rich and dark cherries with hints of salted caramel and dark chocolate. It’s completely dry though, and as Jacques Néauport would say, there’s a well-integrated memory of sugar. It’s fantastic now, but I can only imagine how it’ll evolve with a little time in the cellar. ABV: 14.25%
